This is a big day for me, because this is officially my first blog post. I’m finally biting the bullet and taking the plunge into the blogosphere. I’m not much of a talker, so this may prove to be a bit challenging for me. I guess we’ll find out. Or should I say- I need to find out. Why? Well, because I honestly want to see what it’s like to try to start up a community from scratch. I have no idea if this blog will sink or swim, but one thing I learned a few years back, is that if you want to see change you need to make the decision to do something different- and then do it! So here I am at the beginning of a new year, doing something different.
Let’s get started! Here’s what I’ve been working on.
It’s an all in one, one size fits all, hoodie infinity scarf sewing pattern for women. I have worn this hoodie just about everyday since I made it. I love the contrasting colors, the fact that it’s reversible, and of course- THE BUTTON. I am such a sucker when it comes to over sized buttons! It has been cold lately, but no joke, this hoodie has been keeping me warm and cozy each and everyday.
Here’s another hoodie I made with black fleece and black/green houndstooth lining. This cozy hoodie was given to a good friend of mine.
What do you think of it? Leave a comment and let me know.
I love it! How do I get the pattern?

You look great! I love all of your patterns!!
Thank you Deana! Almost 40 now, so I’m doing what I can to keep myself together. Not an easy task!
What do you think of doing this pattern in flannel or is it pretty important for there to be stretch in the fit? Thanks!
Hi Melissa! I think would still work. It’s nice to have the stretch and extra fluff of the fleece, but fleece should still work.
thanks for the reply! also, just wanted to let you know i am psyched about your addition of sizes to the crib shoe pattern. I have tried to do it myself but the proportions were never quite as good as yours! i have been selling shoes with your pattern for a few years now at https://www.etsy.com/shop/MeemsSeams?ref=hdr_shop_menu
