Well good morning my few precious readers! Just two days ago I only had one subscriber, and now I have seven- whoa! I want to say thank you, I am feeling encouraged to continue with this blogging adventure thanks to you guys. I must say, it’s going to take me a while to get the hang of this. The reason I say this is because, well, I had no idea I had three lovely comments waiting for me to read on my first post, until I went to write this post…. and well looky there, three beautiful comments! To say I felt giddy would be an understatement. If you’ve ever started a blog, you well know, getting those first couple of comments is a golden moment. Now I can speak from experience.

Got a much needed hair cut recently. Thought this would be a good opportunity to show off my new hairdo and also show you that when you take the hood off, it makes a nice and cozy infinity scarf with the hood hanging out the back.

So, what to work on next. Once I complete one project, I’ve got about a hundred more that I want to conquer. Decisions, decisions! Well, hey, now that I’ve got a few people listening to me, I can bounce ideas off of you to help me figure these things out. This is great. Once I gather up a few of my ideas, I’ll be asking for your opinions!

This is a big day for me, because this is officially my first blog post. I’m finally biting the bullet and taking the plunge into the blogosphere. I’m not much of a talker, so this may prove to be a bit challenging for me. I guess we’ll find out. Or should I say- I need to find out. Why? Well, because I honestly want to see what it’s like to try to start up a community from scratch. I have no idea if this blog will sink or swim, but one thing I learned a few years back, is that if you want to see change you need to make the decision to do something different- and then do it! So here I am at the beginning of a new year, doing something different.

It’s an all in one, one size fits all, hoodie infinity scarf sewing pattern for women. I have worn this hoodie just about everyday since I made it. I love the contrasting colors, the fact that it’s reversible, and of course- THE BUTTON. I am such a sucker when it comes to over sized buttons! It has been cold lately, but no joke, this hoodie has been keeping me warm and cozy each and everyday.

Here’s another hoodie I made with black fleece and black/green houndstooth lining. This cozy hoodie was given to a good friend of mine.
